You can’t have it both ways, Mr. President.

We've been hearing it for years: Trump and the MAGA extremists are an existential threat to democracy; they threaten the very foundations of America.

We've heard it from the president.

The media.

And the Left has even encouraged their base to become violent; even, at times, portraying the assassination of Donald Trump.

Eight years, we've been doing this.

And on Saturday, we got this:

Gee, I wonder where someone would get the idea that it was okay to murder former President Trump.

That's sarcasm, for those of you who don't speak the language.

Naturally, I saw many liberals dissatisfied with the missed shot by the assassin.

To me, that's the take that was expected from liberals. They want Trump dead, and the shooter couldn't deliver. So they were understandably upset at the outcome.

The media and our own president told them for years that Trump is a "threat to democracy," a "fascist," an "extremist" whose reelection would be the "end of America."

So I was more than confused when I saw President Biden live on television from the Oval Office telling us he's "grateful" that Trump is doing well and that we, as Americans, need to "lower the temperature in our politics."

"We can't allow this violence to be normalized."

It's funny that you would say that, Mr. President. Why don't you go on back up to the top of the page and rewatch that video of leftist media openly calling for violence against Donald Trump?

And that little speech you gave back in 2022,

The violent anti-Trump rhetoric has been normalized by the Left. There's no question about it.

But Biden tried to do damage control by telling Lester Holt of NBC that he didn't mean "crosshairs" when he said "bullseye" - or, in other words, that you should take his words metaphorically and not literally.

Which one is it, Mr. President? On one hand, you say that Trump's use of hyperbole and metaphor is literal - that he'll be a "dictator on day one." You hired trucks to drive around Milwaukee this week with that exact message that Trump was being literal and is a threat to the nation.

Trump was impeached for supposedly inciting insurrection, even after he called for his supporters to be peaceful and follow the law. We've also been told that Trump's own hateful rhetoric is to blame for the assassination attempt on his life.

If that's the standard, Mr. President, when will you be held accountable for the violence your words have incited?

Why not own up to it? If you really believe all the stuff you say about Donald Trump and the MAGA extremists being an existential threat to the foundations of America, then there's no need for you to give a speech calling for an end to the violence against Trump or his followers; and there's no room at all for prayers made out to a guy who you routinely compare to Hitler.

Why would anyone pray for Hitler?

You can't have it both ways, Mr. President. You either believe with all your soul that Trump and the MAGA extremists are a threat to the very foundations of America, and that Trump is essentially Hitler, or you believe that Donald Trump is someone deserving of prayer and wishing well.

Seems to me that you're a hypocrite of the worst kind.
