They called this a “women’s march”

In case you missed it, this last weekend brought the annual women's march in various American cities; which is to say, a small segment of American women who want a legal right to kill their offspring went out into the streets and said vulgar things.

To hear the media tell it, we're all to believe that's what women want.

Of course, that's not even close to being true. There are millions of women in this country who care about justice, who stand for human rights, and who will always embrace compassion over convenience. Interestingly, a much larger number of them gather every year in Washington, D.C. – but somehow the news cameras are always a bit less eager to film them.

What really made this year's "abortion-touting women's march" unique was their fervent promotion of non-women. If that seems odd to you, know that you're not alone. But nevertheless, it was quite a spectacle of the "dudes-are-women-too" movement, as males who consider themselves women and women who pretend to be men were crowding out the ladies at the microphone.

CBS News touted Schuyler Bailar's speech at the march.

Here are a few highlights from those remarks that I found noteworthy:

"I am here to remind you, to make it absolutely clear that people of all genders can have abortions. (crowd applauds) And people of all genders should have safe and legal access to abortions."

Watching that clip reinforces my firm belief that crowds at these kinds of events don't even listen to what is being said. They just roar instinctively. This Bailar lady said that men need access to abortions, and yet the crowd, supposedly there on behalf of women's rights, went crazy in affirmation. Mindless.

"This is a women's issue. And it is also a transgender man's issue. It is also a non-binary persons issue. It is also a genderqueer, gender fluid, transmasculine persons issue. This is about all of us."

You got that, women? Quit thinking you're special. Quit thinking you're set apart and gifted for some remarkable contribution to this world. Pregnancy? The miracle of motherhood? That belongs to all of us.

"Pro-life is about controlling anyone's body that wants to dismantle or that rejects the cis-hetero-patriarchy."

No… it's not about you wanting to dismantle the "cis-hetero-patriarchy," whatever that is. It's about you wanting to dismantle living babies. "Pro-life" is merely the label given to people who think it should be illegal to crush a babies skull with forceps just because her life isn't convenient to someone else. It's just a label given to those who advocate for human rights for humans who are currently residing in a womb. Millions of women joyfully embrace that label and are appalled with the ones who attempt to make womanhood synonymous with advocating infanticide.

So, just to recap, a number of folks around the country marched in the streets this last weekend to promote abortion – an act that sex traffickers, sexual abusers, and other unscrupulous men use to be able to take advantage of women's bodies for their own enjoyment and avoid responsibility.

In so doing, they also promoted the idea that there's nothing unique about women, that femininity is something men can possess too, and that motherhood is a gift that belongs to both sexes and all "genders."

And they called this a women's march.
