Biden’s commencement address was as bad as it gets. Let's review the "highlights."

The paucity of coverage for what has to be one of the worst graduation speeches ever delivered by a sitting president is absolutely astounding.

Last week, it seemed like the national media couldn't give enough coverage to the commencement address of Catholic kicker Harrison Butker of the Kansas City Chiefs. His call to traditional gender roles, as well as his expression of orthodox Christian views on life sent the Left into a tailspin from which they are yet to recover.

Meanwhile, over the weekend, Joe Biden's performance at Morehouse College's commencement exercises was an orgy of confusion, paranoia, race-baiting, and jaw-dropping falsehoods ... and the media has little to say about it.

Even for a man who has carved out a reputation for being both an unhinged crackpot and a man who regards honesty as a vice, this was a spectacle of shame.

There was crass race-baiting:

Leave aside the inflammatory lie about George Floyd being "murdered," and tell me how uninspiring, demoralizing, and depressing that little spiel would have been to hear on your graduation day. What's grotesque is the fact that the president is discouraging young black college graduates as part of a larger political strategy. The Democrat Party has preached the message of black victimhood for decades, and it has worked. Never mind if everything he's saying is not true, Biden knows it is a necessary play to keep black voters in his pocket. The smattering of applause sadly demonstrates not enough black citizens have caught on to being played.

There was also blatant falsehood:

And another:

I suppose it's possible that the president doesn't realize the "national effort to ban books" had nothing to do with black people or black history - that it was actually localized efforts by parents to prevent sexually explicit books from being accessible to minors in elementary school libraries, while still being available for purchase online and in adult libraries (thus, not a ban at all). It's conceivable that he missed that memo. But his speech writers? Not a chance. They knew. They don't care. The point of this speech wasn't to inspire, but to inflame.

That brings us to the boastful authoritarianism:

Remember when this president ran in 2020 on the platform that he would "restore ethics, the rule of law, and democratic norms?" Is defying Supreme Court orders you don't agree with not the polar opposite of all of those things?

There was even a little "death to Israel" moment mixed in:

An immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza means nothing more than Israel withdrawing from their justifiable, retaliatory military operation meant to wipe out Hamas terrorists who prevent peace for the citizens of both Gaza and the rest of Israel. The president applauding this call is him choosing to side with a U.S.-designated terrorist organization in their war against a key U.S. ally. Shameful.

I get that the bar is not high for President Biden. This is the same guy who, in 2021, got petulant with cadets at the Coast Guard Academy when he delivered their commencement address. When his jokes went over like lead balloons, the commander-in-chief actually looked at the very people pledging their lives in service to the country and said, "You are a quiet - you're really a dull class. I mean, come on, man. Is the sun getting to you?"

So yes, I understand that others might be tempted to tell me I should just be thankful that a president who referred to a former Exalted Cyclops of the Ku Klux Klan as his "mentor," who once complained that busing black kids in order to desegregate schools would cause his children to "grow up in a racial jungle," didn't say anything worse than he did.

But shouldn't we be unwilling to grade on a curve - an absurdly large curve - when it comes to our country's president? Didn't the graduates of Morehouse deserve better? Don't we all?
