100-year-old great grandma grabs Guinness World Record in powerlifting

Your grandma is not this cool:

Edith Murway is not only celebrating her 100th birthday, she's also celebrating her entry into the 2022 Guinness Book of World Records as the oldest female competitive powerlifter. This decorated athlete from Florida says she only started lifting nine years ago when she saw other women lifting at her gym and decided to give it a try. Despite her shelves of accolades, Edith says she wants more and she's gearing up for competition in the fall.

For those of you who are not able to watch her interview, this lady is just on it. She's got that East Coast accent that totally says "I can beat you up."

And judging by her lifting skills, she probably can.

I'm guessing she'll push this record even higher over the next couple of years.

YOU GO, EDITH!
