Montana gun store owner says 20 "heavily armed" IRS agents showed up at his business to take "dozens of boxes" of sales records

Yes, this is a real headline from 2023:

The IRS's armed agents are now seizing sales records from gun shops, and I remember being mocked by the left for having the freedom of mind to believe that arming the IRS would lead to things like this.

Let's take a look at the story:

[Tom] Van Hoose says for two years his Highwood Creek Outfitters gun shop has been the subject of surveillance by state and federal agencies including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Occupational Safety & Health Administration, the Department of Homeland Security, the State of Montana and now the Internal Revenue Service…

Van Hoose says all he was told is that his business had been reported. He doesn't know by whom, or the reason. He thinks it's part of a nationwide pattern and feels it's political.

"I can only assume that it's because of the style of weapons that we have and the press that's so against them," said Van Hoose. "The current administration seems to be hell bent on getting those guns out of the hands of average Americans."

Let's go over that list again: Van Hoose has been targeted by the FBI, Homeland Security, the State of Montana, and the IRS.

Real quick, how about a round of applause for Highwood Creek Outfitters!

That's quite an accomplishment!

Back to the story. This happened on Wednesday:

"At 7:30, I came in and they pulled in behind me with 20 heavily armed agents," said Tom Van Hoose, the owner of Highwood Creek Outfitters…

An IRS spokesperson confirmed to MTN News that the agency was at Highwood Creek Outfitters on official business, but declined to provide any details.

According to a news release from U.S. Representative Matt Rosenadale (R-MT), the IRS confiscated all the 4473 forms from the store. According to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms website, generally, the forms must be completed at licensed business premises when a firearm is transferred over the counter.

"Confiscated all the 4473 forms from the store."

To me, this is nothing more than an attempt at a national gun registry. Like, what business does the IRS have seizing documents which contain gun purchasers' personal information along with the serial numbers of their firearms?

It's the flippin' IRS!!

Why is the IRS seizing background information on gun buyers?

That seriously makes no sense (unless one remembers we have a gun grabber in the White House).

We told you this kind of stuff would start happening once the commies in charge armed the IRS, and now it's here.

Get ready, America, because this is only the beginning.

Disarm the IRS!

Here's the story on YouTube for ya.
