83-Year-Old Home Depot Employee Dies After Being Shoved to the Ground by Scumbag Shoplifter

I hate bringing you stories like this, I really do.

Yup, this is terrible.

Our culture has straight up normalized shoplifting because equity or something and now we've got one man dead at a North Carolina Home Depot because he dared to barely step in front of someone who was trying to steal from his store.

Here's video of the incident which occurred on October 18:

The employee, Gary Rasor of North Carolina, was immediately rushed to the hospital where he made some positive progress toward recovery and even celebrated his 83rd birthday. Unfortunately, on the night before Thanksgiving, he was rushed to the ICU, still suffering from the injuries he sustained during the fall. Rasor died less than a week later.

Such a sad story.

A war vet just trying to make a few extra bucks at the Home Depot and keep himself busy.

Rasor and his wife had airfare booked to visit relatives this Christmas and were even to meet their new grandchild. Sadly, that won't happen.

We gotta do better, America.

Enough with normalizing crime!

And enough with condoning it on a societal level.

Because this is what happens when you do that.
