Fugitive arrested after commenting on a sheriff's department "Most Wanted" Facebook post

Last week, the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office in Georgia posted a Most Wanted List of 10 criminals to their Facebook page.

But one Rockdale County felon, Christopher Spaulding, was offended he didn't make the top 10 list. So he left a comment to ask about his own status.

He may not have made the Top 10 Most Wanted, but at least he made the arrest lists shortly after that.

A few days after the initial post, the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office posted an update including a picture of Mr. Spauding in handcuffs with the caption:

We appreciate you for your assistance in your capture!

Spaulding had two warrants out for his arrest for felony violation of probation.

It sounds like he may have violated probation purely out of laziness since he ended up turning himself in over Facebook. Maybe in the future they'll allow him to serve probation via Zoom to save the police the time it took to go to his house and arrest him.

But at least he saved them the trouble of having to track him down.
