Well, hello there. Meet Rhode Island Assistant Attorney General Devon (Hogan) Flanagan:
[Warning: Foul Language]
I'm an AG! I'm an AG! I'm an AG! ... You're arresting an AG! You're arresting me in handcuffs and you're not Mirandizing me!
Flanagan was asked to leave Clarke Cooke House, a Newport restaurant, on Thursday evening and refused to listen. The police were called and told her to leave. She willfully refused the request, throwing legal excuses at officers instead.
In addition to resisting arrest, Flanagan is on camera telling officers that they will regret arresting her because of her political position.
Buddy, you're gonna regret this. You're gonna regret it. I'm an AG - '
[Door Slams]
Flanagan's friend Veronica Hannan, a senior manager at Pepsi who calls herself a "champion of diversity in STEM," also had a spectacular meltdown as officers arrested her.
At one point, an officer asked Hannan why she was acting like a kid.
[Warning: More Foul Language]
Officer: 'Get your feet in the car! You're a grown adult; you're acting like a kid.'
Hannan: 'DAN!!!'
Officer: 'You're overreacting."
Hannan: 'YOU'RE overreacting!!"

The state AG's office is looking into what happened. I'm sure they'll get around to it after they're done suing the Trump administration, which they just announced on Monday.
