"I felt like a queen. I felt like I was a real bride," Martha Mae Ophelia Moon Tucker said about trying on wedding dresses.
While watching a movie Tucker casually mentioned to one of her granddaughters that she had always wanted to wear a wedding dress. The 94-year-old was not able to have a traditional wedding, so she didn't have the bridal experience that most little girls dream of. So her granddaughters made an appointment for her to go dress shopping, along with her entourage of children and grandchildren. They then posted a few photos from the appointment on Facebook, and the post quickly went viral.
"Whenever we have the opportunity to make something come true for her, we all are always on board. We try our best to celebrate her," one of Tucker's granddaughters said in an interview with WBRC news in Birmingham.
