I know the British historically aren't all that adept when it comes to food, but this seems just a little too on-brand:
A woman says she was "slightly disappointed" after mistaking the bright colourful lights of a nearby tomato factory for a mystical aurora.
Dee Harrison, 56, of Ipswich, uploaded three images to social media of what she believed was a Northern Lights-style phenomenon in the sky above nearby Bramford.
It's true — the glow really does look like the Northern Lights!
And it wasn't crazy for her to think that's what was happening. Remember, we just had a crazy Northern Lights show a few weeks ago:
Alas, "all was not as it seemed":
The 'beautiful' glare - seen early in the morning on Wednesday - actually came from Suffolk Sweet Tomatoes' LED light units, which are used to encourage the growth of its stock.
Tomatoes lights. They were tomato lights.
If you aren't familiar with grow lights, they have a strong magenta color that combines blue and red, which are the best wavelengths absorbed by plants.
The disappointed photographer said she had "driven that way for over two years and this was the first time I had seen it." But apparently the phenomenon is visible only under some circumstances, according to local resident Adam Cotterell:
'Since the tomato factory has been there you have always been able to see a red and pink hue in the sky when there is mist or fog in the air,' he added.
'It is most apparent in the winter months on a cold foggy night, not so much through the summer months because the summer air is dry.'
Looking up at those Northern Lights and realizing they're just tomato lights:
