A bull got loose at this rodeo in Oregon and the footage is both disturbing and awesome

The rodeo is all fun and games until one of the bulls hops the six-foot-high fence and goes on a rampage through the concessions area.

Yeah, that actually happened out in Sisters, Oregon, at the rodeo on Saturday night.

The crowd was singing along to "God Bless the USA" when it went down, and boy were they about to see some freedom displayed by Party Bus, the name of the bull who stole the show.

Wild, dude. Just wild.

You gotta keep your head on a swivel if you're at the rodeo, I guess. My goodness!

The incident unfolded toward the end of the night's events around 9:45 p.m., when the bull jumped six feet over the fence, into the sold-out 5,500 spectator arena and then onto the rodeo grounds.

Officials said that, while two people sustained minor injuries from direct contact, a social media video shows a woman being flipped in the air and trampled by the bull. She was taken to the hospital for treatment of a leg injury but was quickly released. Another of the injured people was a Deschutes County sergeant who hurt his knee …

However, within minutes, the rodeo pickup men were successfully able to recapture the bull minutes after it escaped the area. Sisters Rodeo spokesman Brian Witt told KOIN 6 News that this is due to strict emergency and prevention protocols put in place.

I'm surprised that lady didn't die from that, and I'm not kidding. That bull tossed her around like a rag doll.

As for her choice of wearing red to a rodeo, it's actually an urban myth that red attracts the bulls or makes them angry. We just associate that color with the matadors and their muletas. The waving of the muleta is enough to provoke the bull, no matter the color.

So you can wear red to a rodeo, sure, but man, you gotta be aware of your surroundings at all times, lest you end up like this lady (who is luckily recovering just fine as of now).
