Can't figure this one out.
A clip is making the rounds of Vice President Joe Biden (when he was actually vice president) saying good things about himself to a room full of U.S. troops and then saying "clap for that, you stupid b***ards."
The full video which adds context adds nothing that would justify his words.
"I have incredibly good judgment. One, I married Jill, and two, I appointed Johnson to the academy, I just want you to know that. Clap for that, you stupid b***ards. Come on, man. Man, you are all a dull bunch. Must be slow here, man."
... And then he just goes on with his speech.
I have so many questions. I have no answers. What the heck am I missing?
