A desperate woman reached out to the Krakow Animal Welfare Society in Poland after she came across what she believed to be a dangerous animal stuck in a tree outside her home. Thinking it could be an iguana or other kind of reptile, the lady said that she refused to open her windows because she was afraid the animal would get into her house.
The organization said its officers had asked the caller whether the unidentified animal, which had been in the tree for two days, could be a bird of prey, as it was likely too cold outside to be an iguana.
After arriving on the scene, inspectors found that the object that had been sitting in the lilac tree was simply a flaky pastry croissant, most likely thrown out the window to feed the birds.
