A GameStop/Reddit book and movie deal are already in the works

Just a little over a week since the financial world imploded over Redditors taking GameStop stock on a rocket to the moon, and there's already a Hollywood book and movie in the works.

Why, you ask?

Because 'Murica, that's why.

MGM has reportedly bought the rights to a book already being written by the guy who wrote "The Social Network," which covered the rise of Facebook.

Author Ben Mezrich is creatively titling this new book "The Antisocial Network."

There's no word on when the book/movie will release or what it will look like, but in the meantime, we have this amazing clip as a placeholder:
