A global debate has arisen over whether or not there are more doors or wheels in existence and I think we all know what the answer is

As if we all don't have enough on our mind these days, we also gotta deal with the really, really hard questions too:

On Saturday, March 5, Twitter user Ryan Nixon tweeted the following: "My mates and I are having the STUPIDEST debate... And I am here for it. Do you think there are more doors or wheels in the world?"

Since then, social media users across various platforms have been entertaining the debate: Are there more wheels or doors in the world?

Here's the original tweet; as you can see, the world has weighed in, and they've come down pretty decisively in favor of wheels:

Many people offered their input on this vexing question:

And I gotta say....and I know we may lose some subscribers over this, but...

It's gotta be wheels, right?

Think of the sheer number of things in your life that have wheels—your cars, your bikes, your kid's wagons, Power Wheels, skateboards, scooters, toys, various appliances, pieces of furniture, skates, rollerblades...on and on and on.

Now extrapolate that math to, say, the average-sized U.S. city. Sure, there are a ton of doors in office buildings, restaurants, utility sheds, apartments, on cars, trucks, what-have-you.

But picture the sheer number of cars in any given city center at any given time. Multiply the number of cars by at least four. Then add in every push-cart in every office, every dolly on every work truck, every bike, every dumpster, every hot dog cart, every food truck, every bulk truck, every jackleg moving plank with four wheels on it, every stroller...on and on and on.

The wheels have to win this one. No question.
