Congresswoman Cori Bush (D-MO) had this to say today about the beauty of "birthing":

In the clip, she talked about the struggle her son had after a doctor didn't listen to her concerns and he was born prematurely. It's a truly distressing story about how women often have to fight to be heard by medical professionals that don't take time to listen.

She specifically talked about black mothers being "dehumanized."

And then immediately referred to them as "black birthing people" in her post.

People had a bit of a reaction to this linguistic circus show:

The tweet was a virtue signal to the woke, however, and they drank it up.

Proof that it hit its target audience:

LOL of course NARAL had to chime in. Ugh.

Welp, make sure to wish your gender non-specific parental unit a warm Birthing People Day this Sunday!
