These bakers made a life-size dough sculpture of Han Solo frozen in carbonite and you have to see it to believe it

Two Californian bakers just sculpted one of the most iconic Star Wars moments out of literal bread dough.

Hannalee Pervan and mom Catherine Pervan are the owner of One House Bakery in Benicia, California. They decided to create a 6-foot tall sculpture of Han Solo trapped in carbonite (or as they call it "Pan Solo encased in levainite") as part of their town's annual "Downtown Scarecrow Contest."

It's pretty accurate!!

The mother-daughter baking team spent a month working on the sculpture, from planning to sculpting and, finally, baking the incredibly detailed bread.

Catherine Pervan told Insider,

We're just giant science fiction nerds, so it was kind of a no-brainer to go with such an iconic scene.

The sculpture will remain on display outside of the bakery for the remainder of the month while the public votes on who will win the Scarecrow Contest.

The Pervans have done bread sculptures in past years, but have yet to win. I think that might just change this year.

And even if it doesn't, they've at least won the hearts of a particular Star Wars actor:

Catherine Pervan told Insider:

For us it's not about the competition, it's just about the time after work where she's not my boss anymore and I'm not momming her. It's my favorite time.
