Yep, that's right: Two butchers in the Madison-based Jenifer Street Market have done the unthinkable, marrying the super-sugary orange-and-yellow candy corn with their bratwursts. The result? A surprisingly popular seasonal treat, rather than a goofy trick.

"Surprisingly popular?" You heard that right, folks. A local journalist even went so far as to publicly praise the bizarre abomination:

Seems to me this might be less an attempt to craft a tasty sausage and more an attempt to use up surplus candy corn, of which there is always a lot, because candy corn is not good.

I'm not trying to be overly dramatic here but these two butchers should be imprisoned for life.
