The LGBT folks are super mad that they're having to cancel their pole-dancing convention in Orlando because, for some reason, Republicans there have a problem with sex shows for kids.
That mean old bad Florida man! He HATES gay people and that's why he's banned stripping in front of children!
Yes, the 2024 pole-dancing convention was going to be held in Orlando but this "anti-LGBT" government is so mean and not inclusive!
A major pole-dancing convention no longer plans to head to Orlando in 2024 after Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) signed a flurry of laws targeting the LGBTQ+ community, including one that targets drag shows.
The International Pole Convention, known as PoleCon for short, has decided to relocate the annual event because attendees will include people of various genders and ages, including youth performers and children attending with their parents, and some attendees will be in drag.
They canceled the show in Florida because they had CHILDREN dancing on stripper poles planned and that sort of thing doesn't fly in the sunshine state.
PoleCon is highly sexual in nature. I can't show the videos here because they would be borderline rated X. The "dancers" twirl themselves around poles with G-strings and thongs. They title their videos like this:
Yes, they allow children to attend and watch grown adults do these strip shows, but the media wants you to think only dictator would want to stop this practice.
Apparently, not letting kids watch strippers is anti-LGBT.

"It's just too risky to go to Florida," Colleen Jolly, the CEO of the International Pole Convention, told HuffPost. "At this point, I'm signing [event-related] contracts one year in advance. What kind of shenanigans are going to be happening there by then?"
Seriously, what's next? Will DeSantis sign a law prohibiting the grooming of kids in public? There's no telling what kind of hateful, bigoted laws that target the pedo community could come out of Tallahassee!
