Yeah, a medical student tweeted that a patient disrespected her pronouns, so she stuck him twice to draw blood ... this is why I don't trust doctors

A Wake Forest fourth-year medical student, Kychelle Del Rosario, is in trouble after tweeting that she had to stick a patient twice when drawing for blood, presumably because he mocked her pronoun pin.

Del Rosario has since deleted her account.

There are so many problems with this.

First, a supposed medical professional does not know what gender is (do they even require you to take biology to attend medical school anymore?)

Secondly, under no circumstances should a doctor attempt to injure a patient (or even joke about it). There's that whole Hippocratic Oath thing we all take pretty seriously.

Third, why would she think it's appropriate to mock her patients publicly?

She probably thought she could get away with it.

While it looks like Wake Forest is addressing the issue, I have no doubt that the measures they take will equate to a slap on the wrist. The woke protect their own!

Wake Forest did not acknowledge the name of the student or say what the measures they are taking will be.

If you've gotten to 2022 and still have full faith in the medical community, I just have one question:
