John Bolton says he's going to primary Trump in 2024 so we can have "stronger foreign policy"

Well, we reported that he was thinking about it...

And apparently he decided to go for it.

Yes, John Bolton feels compelled to face down his former boss Donald Trump in the 2024 election in order to save democracy from the bad orange man.

Here's his announcement:

No, wait, here's how he announced:

Speaking to Good Morning Britain today, Bolton said: 'I would get in to win the nomination and I would do it primarily on the basis that we need a much stronger foreign policy.

Bolton's idea of "stronger foreign policy" has been well documented over the last 30 years.

'I think it's important that it's understood not just in Moscow, but it's understood in places like Beijing, that unprovoked aggression against your neighbors is not something the United States and its allies will tolerate.'

John Bolton is going to run for the Republican nomination by saying we aren't doing enough to help Ukraine?

I may be wrong, but I think the Republican Party of today will reject a neocon like Bolton who has casually admitted in public to planning and executing foreign coups.

I don't see Bolton actually running, and if he does I can't even imagine anyone voting for him.

But if he doesn't win, just be warned, he knows how to execute a coup!
