Remember two years ago when the media dubbed Andrew Cuomo the greatest governor in the United States, while they laughingly derided Ron DeSantis as "DeathSantis" while claiming he was suppressing Covid numbers??
Well, reality has come home to roost and shown, once again, that there is no reason whatsoever to trust the mainstream media narrative.
First, we have this disturbing headline this week from New York confirming what we've known for a while now:
Andrew Cuomo conspired with officials in his state to downplay the number of Covid deaths in his state, hiding more than 4,000 extra deaths (‼️) in nursing homes that came as a direct result of his policy of keeping Covid positive patients in nursing homes.
Auditors found that DOH officials undercounted the death toll by at least 4,100 residents and at times by more than 50 percent, allowing Cuomo to repeatedly and falsely claim that New York was doing a better job than other states in protecting highly vulnerable seniors, the report says.
"While the Department's duty is to act solely to promote public health, we determined that, rather than providing accurate and reliable information during a public health emergency, the Department instead conformed its presentation to the Executive's narrative, often presenting data in a manner that misled the public," the report says.
We knew Andrew Cuomo was the worst, but who knew he was this awful?
And don't forget this little gem from our moral betters in the media:
Yeah, laughing it up on TV with his brother as thousands of elderly patients died in nursing homes BECAUSE of his policy. As he was actively hiding the disastrous result and winning an International Emmy Award for his efforts.
Absolutely disgusting.
Now, let's turn to Florida.
For more than a year now, the term "DeathSantis" has been trending on Twitter, accusing Florida's governor of implementing dangerous policies in Florida which were meant to kill people off.
He was and is regularly accused of suppressing Covid death numbers in Florida throughout the pandemic.
This week, an investigation settled those accusations:
A University of Florida investigation found no merit to allegations that state officials pressured UF staff members to destroy data, hindered their access to the Florida Department of Health's COVID-19 data or prevented the analysis or publication of that information, university officials said in a statement Wednesday.
How about that?
The media not only lied to you to prop up the worst governor in America as a Democratic hero, they also lied to you in order to tear down the best governor in America.
Who would have possibly believed that the media would spread false narratives based solely on left-wing propaganda and misinformation? I am shocked! Shocked, I say!!!
Media bias is deadly.
