An assistant principal at Westfield High School in Spring, Texas, tried to stop a fight between two students. When she rushed in between the girls, the mob of students filming the fight turned on her and brutally beat her.
You can see her here in the pink coat rush in, then the crowd moves in, and she goes down.
[Warning: Language, Violence]
One person can be heard calling her a "b****", while another starts yelling, "Everyone kick the ho!"
Teachers at the school say it's not the first time students have attacked a staff member, and they are afraid it will not be the last.
"It broke my heart. It makes me want to cry," said a teacher at the school about the incident. "She loves those kids. She is the nicest person. She's the best administrator that we have at Westfield High School."
The assistant principal was rushed to the hospital with head injuries in excruciating pain and unable to speak. She was released later that evening after a CT scan.
A district representative said,
"We are currently conducting a full investigation of all students involved, some of whom already have been identified for disciplinary action," the district spokesperson said.
"It is possible that additional students may be identified for disciplinary consequences."
The Democrats keep saying we need to pay our teachers more. Maybe they're right. Teaching seems like a pretty dangerous job these days.
Maybe they need hazard pay and military training.
