This is why I love baseball.

1-0, top of six, and the away team cracks a solo homer to tie it up. A fan of the home team gains possession of the homerun ball, and what does he do?

Watch:

Now that's how you do it!

No hesitation. No questions asked. Dude just immediately hands the ball to the kid in the Judge shirt.

A magnificently kind gesture!

One this kid will remember for the rest of his life.

And check this out. Somebody in management must've noticed this act of kindness, because the next night both the kid and the Jays fan got to meet Aaron Judge in the dugout before to the game.

How cool is that?!?

Believe it or not, it gets better. The Jays fan who gave away that homerun ball...

Two-time All-Star and 2017 World Series MVP George Springer signed not one, but two jerseys for him.

AMAZING!!

See that, people? Great things happen when you're kind to others. Let's all make it a point to be more like Mike Lanzillotta, especially in times like these.
