A whistleblower has fled the U.S. for Switzerland and is promising to release nearly 500gb of hidden data from Hunter Biden's laptop

We should always be hesitant to believe wild, crazy, bombshell stories like this one before we have all the data and information—but man oh man, this is quite the teaser:

The source who distributed Hunter Biden's laptop to congressmen and media has fled the US to Switzerland, saying he fears retaliation from the Biden administration...

For the past two weeks, Maxey has been in hiding in Zurich, working with IT experts to dig out more data from the 'laptop from hell'.

Maxey, a former co-host of ex-Donald Trump advisor Steve Bannon's podcast the War Room, claims he and his colleagues have found '450 gigabytes of deleted material' including 80,000 images and videos and more than 120,000 archived emails.

He said he intends to post them all online in a searchable database in the coming weeks.

What do you think the chances are that, if and when this massive database does drop, the media spends weeks ignoring it, social media censors it, the White House lazily denies it, and then at some later date it's all verified as completely true and accurate?

It seems unlikely that the laptop story has a whole lot of air left in it—the media successfully squashed the scandal to the point that most people likely consider it old news. That sort of thing matters when it comes to how many people are willing to read, and appreciate the gravity of, a news story.

Still—"80,000 images and 120,000 archived emails" is a lot of data. Might be something in there that could catch a few eyeballs.

Who are we kidding? It's Hunter Biden. One can only imagine the depths of depravity contained in that data.
