Seriously, according to the Anti-Defamation League — which is 100% a joke organization according to many sources — "100% is shorthand among white supremacists for '100% white.'"

They're 100% not kidding.

Here's how the ADL describes 100% on their website:

100% is shorthand among white supremacists for "100% white," though it is also common for them to write out the entire phrase. Among prison populations and places such as California where peckerwood gangs are common, one might also see "100% peckerwood," "100% featherwood," or "100% wood."

Okay, so basically some weirdos use an emoji in a racist way so now it's racist for all of us?

Bro, I use that emoji every day of the week. I guess I've solidified my position as a white supremacist in the eyes of the ADL (we're all white supremacists in the eyes of the ADL).

Quick question, ADL: If I were to use the 100 emoji in response when someone said, "Israel is on the right side of history," would that still be considered white supremacy? Or is it okay in that situation because I'm supporting the Jewish state?
