Update:

Police held a press conference confirming that they neutralized the shooter and there are two individuals, a small child and a middle-aged man, who were injured during the incident.

Joel Osteen's Lakewood in Houston, Texas, announced on X that there is an active shooter situation at the church.

Police have responded to the scene and video shows the police clearing the area.

There is also video from the church's Spanish language broadcast of the initial shots being fired.

CNN is reporting that the sheriff's department has taken down who they believe to be the shooter.

Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez also posted about the incident, saying, 'info remains preliminary, as things remain dynamic. It is believed that a possible shooter is down, shot by one of our deputy's on-scene. I'm enroute to the scene.'

No reports on injuries have not come out yet.

Obviously, details are still sketchy and we don't know all the details.
