Hollywood has always been a selfish, narcissistic cesspool championing ghoulish, anti-natal policies.
Remember this horrifying Oscar speech from Michelle Williams, where she credited her abortion with enabling her to win a stupid gold statue?
Jennifer Lawrence is a different story. She stepped back for a few years to have children with her husband Cooke Maroney. She now has a 3-year-old and just gave birth to her second son.
In a recent interview at Cannes, she had this to say about her experience as a mother:
Having children changes everything, it changes your whole life. It's brutal and incredible. They go into every decision of if I'm working, where I'm working, when I'm working. I didn't know that I could feel so much and my job has a lot to do with emotion. They've opened up the world to me. It's almost feeling like a blister or something — so sensitive. So they've changed my life, obviously, for the best and they've changed me creatively.
She then humorously quipped: "I highly recommend having kids if you want to be an actor."
Internet commenters seemed to appreciate the moment:
Good for you, Jennifer Lawrence. Now, please, for the love of God, don't trans your kids.
