Amazon is reportedly going to test out new humanoid robots that will not be confined to the factory floor.
These robots would be out there delivering your packages to your front door and driving around in those Rivian electric trucks.

From Mashable:
The project appears to be in a fairly early stage, with Amazon working on software and AI to power the robots, as well as testing several different humanoid robots, including those from Chinese company Unitree.
They're apparently starting in San Francisco, but before long, these Unitree robots may be driving to your doorstep to deliver your copy of the Unabomber Manifesto.
Here's what the Unitree bots look like:
Amazon mostly uses purpose-specific robots in its facilities, but it has tested a humanoid robot called Digit from Agility Robotics for warehouse work back in 2023.
Are we moving on to the I, Robot stage of human society?
It's gonna be wild!
