America 2023: Biden takes $10M bribe, but Trump indicted for telling people to watch TV
· Aug 17, 2023 · NottheBee.com

No one is above the law. That's a point we should all agree on.

It's a point I agree on, at least. It's why I want President Trump held responsible for any legitimate crimes he may have committed. It's also why I want President Biden held responsible for the legitimate crimes he appears to have committed… more than once… with regularity… for years… with impunity.

But who has time for the current president's scandals when Trump did something as deadly to democracy as [checks indictment] tell people to watch TV:

I don't watch OANN. Don't care for the hosts, the production value, or the constant fear mongering. But since when is watching a cable channel grounds for a conspiracy charge? Over at MSNBC they foment revolution every hour, on the hour.

It's all just a dog and pony show that makes a mockery of American justice. That's what gets me. When the prosecutor can't even explain away the obvious fix that was already in at her office, even when given softball opportunities to do so by a supportive media, you know this isn't about justice:

And when the clerk that you're blaming the obvious set-up on offers explanations like this that don't even address the real question, just give it up:

Pathetic. Meanwhile, as the wheels of American justice threaten to run over a former president because he told people to watch television, there's this minuscule situation that doesn't seem to be getting much attention:

  • Joe Biden heads Ukrainian relations as VP
  • During that time, Ukrainian prosecutor begins investigating Burisma, an oil & gas company
  • Burisma hired Hunter Biden, and paid him $83,000 a month
  • Burisma used their employee Hunter to beg Joe to pressure Ukrainian prosecutor to cease investigation
  • Joe charges Burisma $10 million for his assistance
  • Joe gives Ukraine an ultimatum: fire the prosecutor or lose $1 billion loan from US.
  • Ukraine fires prosecutor, gets its $1 billion
  • Bidens suddenly see their bank account increase by $10 million

Again, no one should be above the law. And while I don't see anything illegal in telling people to watch TV, if Trump broke any laws, hold him accountable.

But if you're really concerned about corruption in high levels of American government, and you're not just political hacks with an axe to grind against a former president who hurt your feelings, then maybe spend a little less time coming up with asinine stretches like the TV indictment and at least acknowledge the Biden pay-for-play scams screaming to be noticed.
