Well, this must have been an interesting flight to be on.
The flight never made it from Savannah, Georgia, to Miami. This little fit happened almost immediately after takeoff. According to an affidavit, just before the freakout Augustin told his sister, who was sitting next to him, to "close her eyes and pray because Satan's disciples had followed them onto the plane."
At first, they thought the guy was simply having a seizure, but things changed pretty quickly.
Less than a minute after takeoff, a flight attendant noticed Augustin ‘in what appeared to be a fit of epilepsy, the affidavit says.' When the attendant tried to check on him, Augustin ‘turned in his seat, lifted his legs, and kicked' the flight attendant in the chest, the affidavit alleges.
According to the affidavit, the force of the kick was so strong that it sent the flight attendant across the plane's aisle, into the opposite row of seats and against the far window. Augustin is alleged to have then continued his aggression, punching and kicking the seat and the passenger in front of him.
To make matters worse, the guy apparently swallowed his rosary, or at least some of the beads.
This deranged man was headed back to Haiti with his sister, and I quote, "to flee religious attacks of a spiritual nature."
We may owe Kenneth Copeland an apology now!
