So did American hero Adam Sandler save us all from Nazi Ye, or what?

Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them talk in little baby voices and sing songs about Hannukah.

Thanks to one such hero, our long, global nightmare is over (I think?) and the world can now breathe a collective sigh of relief, as actor-comedian-national treasure Adam Sandler has saved mankind from Nazi Ye.

Ye posted the news himself to his X account Wednesday morning:

The rapper-turned-crazy-controversy-magnet that we all still call Kanye West then made a contemplative follow-up post a few hours later:

Thanks for letting us all know, Yeezy.

Speculation abounded that Sandler used his mysterious Adam Sandler powers during his performance on the Saturday Night Live 50th Anniversary Special — with miraculous results.

Social media users expressed their gratitude for the achievement:

Though it is not yet known if this will stick (Kanye hasn't posted any updates and/or antisemitic rants since), it's clear that the world owes Sandler a debt of gratitude — not just for the timeless classic song "Lunchlady Land" but for performing the great service of bringing Ye to the realization that he is not, in fact, a Nazi.

At least until Ye changes his mind again and decides to go "Death Con 3" on the Jews.

Thank you, Adam Sandler.

For … whatever you did.
