Elderly Michigan woman shot in the back while canvassing for pro-life proposal

An elderly woman in Michigan was recently shot in the back while canvassing for a pro-life ballot initiative up in Michigan.

The 84-year-old woman was passing out pamphlets about a pro-life proposal when she was shot in the back by an unidentified man.

From The Daily Wire:

Right to Life Michigan, a pro-life non-profit, said in a statement on Saturday that while the elderly woman volunteered her time going door-to-door around her community in Lake Odessa, one interaction left her wounded after leaving a residence during a "heated conversation."

"The victim does not know the identity or motive of her shooter." the statement reads. "The victim is still recovering from her gunshot wound and wishes to remain anonymous while the criminal investigation proceeds."

It's becoming increasingly dangerous to go door-to-door if you're on the side of life. The pro-death camp has very little regard for anything other than their own selfish desires.

You'll recall not even two months ago when a Kansas teen was violently assaulted by an angry pro-abort while going door-to-door.

More on the story from Michigan:

Authorities told Fox News Digital Saturday that the elderly woman was shot after a "verbal altercation while she was passing out pamphlets" and would later drive herself to the Lake Odessa Police Department.

She was transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released.

"We're glad the victim is recovering, and our volunteers will continue knocking doors on Proposal 3," Chris Gast, a Right to Life of Michigan official, told Fox News Digital on Saturday.

It's remarkable that an 84-year-old grandmother can recover from being shot in the back. Praise God.

This attack comes just days after a North Dakota man murdered a teenager who he believed to be a "Republican extremist."

It's an increasingly dangerous world out there if you're one of those extremists who like Jesus, babies, and the Constitution!
