Aldi is known for sometimes stocking unique products, but this is a new one.

Chicago animal control was called to a Chicago Aldi to remove what was thought to be a raccoon or possum from the meat aisle.

It turned out to be something much bigger.

Watch as this officer pulls a FRIGGIN' COYOTE from behind refrigerated shelves.

Animal control eventually captured the animal and shared a picture:

Apparently, coyotes run into humans more during mating season, when they venture outside their usual territories.

The coyote will be transferred to a wildlife rehabilitation center, where he can plot his next dastardly move.
