Hoover, Alabama, City Administrator Allan Rice on Thursday night shared a post on Facebook dripping with irony and hilarity.

A group of anti-police protesters spent the day Thursday railing against the police department in Hoover. But, when it came time to leave, some of the protesters ran into a liiiiittle bit of trouble ... they had locked their keys in their car.

Luckily for the protesters, help was not far off, as the very police officers they were there to protest came over and helped the group unlock their car.

That's right. The police officers who likely had to endure the screeching chants of these neckbeards all day graciously came to their rescue and got them out of this pickle.

In the words of Mr. Rice, you "can't make this stuff up."
