AOC's only way forward is to continue to come up with new ways she's oppressed, otherwise she won't be able to keep up with the cool kids!

AOC is basically a Native American now!

A lot of people pointed out that Puerto Ricans like AOC have Native American ancestry. So do millions of people. This rather white writer had a great-great grandfather who was 100% Cherokee – sadly, I didn't inherit the jet-black hair of my mother and grandfather so I could score more intersectional points in the woke hierarchy. Sad!

Of course, my Cherokee ancestors likely owned black slaves, while one of my white forefathers was sold into slavery in the South for nearly 20 years, so I'm not sure how the oppression points would stack up, anyway.

AOC then let her followers know that "the colonizing force" [Read: Anyone who believes in Aristotelian logic, Judeo-Christian ethics, the Constitution, or Thomas Jefferson] is trying to "erase your own understanding of who you are."

Oh, then just for funsies, she includes herself when talking about "African ancestors."

So to the Left, race is subjective and moral values are subjective, but here AOC is saying that both items are concrete fixed principles of the universe. No matter what those evil whities do, they can't erase those things.

Also, I'm wondering what values AOC is referring to. Was it the cannibalism, human sacrifice, unending tribal wars, slavery, scalping, or 90% of the population that died violent deaths?

Pre-European America was truly a barbaric place (as was Africa). The Christian would say each one of those Native American deaths in this violent era was a tragedy, because Christian thought uniquely teaches that each person is made in God's image and that death is unnatural.

There were many Europeans who did truly horrible things to native populations, and their technology allowed them to do it on a grand scale.

But there were others who brought the idea of equality, inherent rights, abolition, the free market, medicine, education, and industrialization to America.

Can you imagine if another civilization like China, without such a heritage, would have colonized the Americas? Would there even be any record of those who had gone before? Would there even be an opportunity for AOC to celebrate her Taino roots that nearly everyone in modern America believes she should be free to celebrate??

Anyway, Chief Hammer-And-Sickle Warren can rest easy tonight knowing that her people's plight will not die with her!
