Apparently NBC News thinks this is a bad thing

Oh no! It's an absolute disaster!

Voters in Colorado voted in conservatives to the school board so they could reshape public education to better reflect what the parents want and then that school board delivered on their promises!

The way NBC frames this is INSANE!

They adopted a "right-wing" social studies curriculum? What would you prefer? The 1619 Project?

Didn't get grants to pay for counselors?

Good!

That's probably the single most woke and most dangerous position in any school. Public schools went without counselors for decades and in the last twenty years, they've turned into woke empowerment officers.

The schools will be better off.

And 40% of the professional staff leaving is also a great thing. The biggest drain on the school system is all the "professionals" on staff who don't teach.

It's like they don't even understand that this is EXACTLY what people voted for and is the good consequence of the election.

Woodland Park, a small mountain town that overlooks Pikes Peak, became the first — and, so far, only — district in the country to adopt the American Birthright social studies standard, created by a right-wing advocacy group that warns of the "steady whittling away of American liberty." The new board hired a superintendent who was previously recalled from a nearby school board after pushing for a curriculum that would "promote positive aspects of the United States." The board approved the community's first charter school without public notice and gave the charter a third of the middle school building.

They're going to teach that America is good!

"NO! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO TEACH THAT AMERICA IS EVIL!!!"

You can't promote charter schools that take powers away from the government indoctrination centers!

"This is the flood the zone tactic, and the idea is if you advance on many fronts at the same time, then the enemy cannot fortify, defend, effectively counter-attack at any one front," David Illingworth, one of the new conservative school board members, wrote to another on Dec. 9, 2021, weeks after they were elected. "Divide, scatter, conquer. Trump was great at this in his first 100 days."

Awesome!

Sounds like it's working!

Stay on offense! Drive the wokies out of their cushy jobs.

Conservatives, you have your game plan!
