Apple just announced the investment of $600 BILLION in the U.S. over the next four years.
As part of the mega-deal, Apple and Corning will partner to produce ALL iPhone and Apple Watch glass screen covers at Corning's facility in Harrodsburg, Kentucky, along with Apple making 19 BILLION chips for devices at manufacturing sites across multiple states in the United States.
Apple's press release had the details:
These projects are part of Apple's broader commitment to spend and invest more than $600 billion in the U.S. economy over the next four years. This includes Apple's newly announced American Manufacturing Program (AMP), which will invest across America and incentivize global companies to onshore production and manufacture even more of Apple's critical components in the United States.
Not mentioned in the press release is the fact that Apple is working hard to bring this type of manufacturing stateside to avoid being crushed by Trump's tariffs that will impact parts and components that have to be imported from overseas.
President Trump was on hand in the Oval Office to show his approval of the new deal:
Apple CEO Tim Cook even presented the president with a special gift to mark the occasion:
NOW LET'S CHECK IN ON THE LEFT-WING REACTION:
