The original post was deleted from Reddit three years ago, but it was circulating on socials this week as these kind of stories tend to do.

Just read the story and weep for this generation of children.

This baby thinks his mother and Alexa are one in the same!

It was shared as a sort of cute and funny story about a little kid. And I can see that on one level.

But then we have the deeper level showing how technology and its ever-increasing prevalence is warping the minds of young children in very important ways.

What a time to be alive...
