Armie Hammer, the guy who went from being Hollywood's golden boy to that guy you avoid eye contact with at Whole Foods, is now selling his truck because gas prices are too high in Los Angeles.

In an Instagram video — the source of all life-altering announcements these days — Armie stood in front of a CarMax and bid farewell to his 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Denali, a truck he bought himself for Christmas.

I can only imagine the emotions he's hiding underneath it all in the above video.

Armie's been putting so much gas in his truck since he got back to L.A. he can't afford it anymore. After allegations of cannibalism and sexual assault, having to trade in his high-end truck might be the most embarrassing moment in his turbulent career.

He announced that he's starting "a new life"...in a "tiny" hybrid…in Los Angeles. After all, why run away from accusations of cannibalism and sexual assault when you can move to L.A.?!
