Andrews, 41, was pulled over by Aurora police officers after making an improper U-turn, the councilman said in a statement on social media. After sobriety testing during the traffic stop, Andrews said officers determined he ‘was not fit to drive.'

‘I take full responsibility for my decision,' Andrews stated. ‘I am deeply sorry — to my family, to the people I serve, and to everyone who expects better from me.'
Andrews was only sworn into office a month ago!
He's not resigning, of course. This is Aurora and he's a Democrat.
But he does promise that he'll keep "showing up" and will police his own behavior.
