Don't you be listening to those right wing conspiracy theorists; this is just normal everyday stuff right here, nothing to worry about.
Yeah, no big deal, just a big gun fight at the border near Tucson. Oh, and yeah, about that, on the Mexican side of the border, after the gunfight, the Mexican military found ten — yes ten — improvised explosive devices (or IEDs).
Now, these could be simple pipe bombs, or they could be a little (or a lot) more sophisticated, we just don't know. We do know, for absolute certain, that IEDs were seized at our southern border.
Bombs.
Bombs at our southern border.
The IEDs were found by Mexican authorities after Tucson border patrol observed gunshots at the U.S.-Mexico border and a Tucson supervisory border patrol agent arrested an armed person on the U.S. side who had a loaded AK-47 rifle, two loaded AK magazines, loose rounds and a handgun.
CBP is warning its agents to "exercise extreme caution and should report any possible armed subjects approaching the border with possible explosive devices," according to the memo.
A source tells FOX Business this cartel gun fight erupted over a gap in the border fence at the ranch that is typically used to smuggle drugs through. Now it's a magnet for the cartel for human smuggling — and the gangs were fighting for control.
This isn't the first time IEDs have been found at the border either.
I don't care what anybody says, there is reason to be concerned here. If this gap in the border didn't exist, we wouldn't have cartel activity there — that's a fact. Build the wall and, assuming its built well, this stuff essentially goes away.
But no, we will continue to let this occur, at least until January of 2025. These are dangerous waters we're swimmin' in folks, and it's only a matter of time before our own military finds themselves involved in a border dispute with these cartels. And that will be ugly, mostly for the cartels.
Say it with me:
BUILD THAT WALL!
BUILD THAT WALL!
BUILD THAT WALL!
