This clip from a confirmation hearing yesterday is one of the most hilariously awkward situations I have ever seen.
Watch as Joni Ernst confronts Biden's nominee to the TVA, Beth Prichard Geer, for an old tweet where she attacked Joni Ernst as "hideous".
You can just feel how uncomfortable Geer was when confronted with her embarrassing past.
Ernst beautifully sets her up by getting Geer to talk about her values of civility and decency, and then the staff member pulls this big, giant posterboard out with Geer's old words.
Geer has absolutely no response other than to squirm uncomfortably.
And, as Ernst points out, this is prior to Trump. Mocking women you don't like was a thing on the left long before Trump came to power.
They're all just hypocrites.
It's good to see them called out on their nonsense.
