Axios is getting dragged for this headline that reveals the murder rate for transgenders is 3 times lower than the national average

Since it's apparently "transgender awareness week", Axios has decided to publish a headline that's nothing more than a propaganda piece for the pro-LGBTQ+++ agenda.

Here's the headline:

32 people killed is, of course, a tragedy.

But the issue with this headline and story is that they make it out to look like transgender people are particularly targeted for violence due to their sexual minority status.

The problem with that, according to the article, is that it looks like NONE of these people were murdered BECAUSE they were trans.

AND the murder rate for transgendered people is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than the rest of the population.

Axios was rightly ratioed for ignorantly repeating the propaganda with no context.

These replies are golden:

You're more likely to be struck by lightning and killed than be murdered as a transgender person.

So, if you're going by "cis" vs. "trans", then the gender-nonconforming transgender person is the population LEAST likely to get murdered in the entire country.
