Glades Homemade Candies has had a rough year so far. Their shop has been terrorized by a black bear with a sweet tooth, who has broken into the store four times since Christmas!

The owners posted photos of the damage on Facebook, asking for prayers:

In another post, the store said that they have taken

every reasonable precaution to prevent the bear from accessing our property.

The store uses bear-proof dumpsters and keeps the store locked up, but as you can see from the pictures, the locks don't seem to keep this guy out.

So far, despite their best efforts, the bear just keeps coming back for more. And can you blame him? I'd be coming back for seconds ... or fourths of those homemade turtles too.

The situation has been reported to the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, and the store owners say that they are hopeful that the bear can be safely relocated before he does any more damage to their shop.

With any luck, hopefully, the free publicity will make up for some of the losses incurred from the hungry bear!
