The Marxists want a perpetual revolution, and comrades like AOC think they have more fuel for the fire with this video:

A 24-year-old Marine ("former" Marine, but once a Marine, always a Marine) held this criminal, who had 40 prior arrests and was violently harassing folks on the subway, in a chokehold while fellow New Yorkers helped him.
For that, the mostly peaceful Left wants another "summer of love" to rival the fiery destruction and bloodshed they committed in the name of Saint George Floyd.
When you say a man is "murdered" and "lynched," you are directly accusing someone of a crime. AOC is an elected official, one with no jurisdiction or authority to indict any of the men who stopped this criminal, let alone to bring them to trial or serve as jury or judge, but she is using her position as an elected representative to condemn a man.
The message was clear: Burn down the system for protecting this man. Racism! Racism!
And so the foot soldiers took to the streets:
Since you haven't yet seen the wider context of the situation, here's some for you:
The horrific moment a 24-year-old former Marine put an erratic New York subway passenger in a headlock until he died was captured on camera.
The fight broke out at the Broadway-Lafayette station on Monday afternoon when a 30-year-old man identified by the New York Post as Jordan Neely entered the subway car and started threatening passengers.
Witnesses said he was was acting in a 'hostile and erratic manner' before the younger man put him in a headlock and held him there until he was unconscious.
The man allegedly "started screaming in an aggressive manner," claiming he "had no food, he had no drink, that he was tired and doesn't care if he goes to jail." Pretty red-flag stuff right there. When an unstable guy starts screaming that he "doesn't care if he goes to jail," you're probably on the verge of something bad. No wonder the Marine stepped in.
Jordan Neely is being portrayed as a carefree street performer. But he had been arrested more than 40 times and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest.
I was unable to find a full record of Neely's rap sheet, but his outstanding warrant was for assaulting a 67-year-old woman in East Village in November 2021. Many of his other charges reportedly stemmed from activities he committed as a homeless person on the city streets. He was seemingly well known by police with a warrant for his arrest, and yet he was still out in public.
In a healthy society, law enforcement steps in to protect citizens from unstable, violent individuals. In an unhealthy society, citizens are forced to take action to protect themselves. In a poisonous society, law enforcement lets criminals go free and crucifies citizens who try to protect themselves.
Based on the following level of insane cognitive dissonance, judge which type of society we now live in:
Leftist cities like NYC say that it's compassionate to not pull homeless wanderers off the streets. They say it's fair and kind to especially turn a blind eye to crimes if a black person commits them, because a few broken eggs (citizens' lives) are worth sacrificing if it means paying off the guilt they feel for a slavery system they had no part in long ago.
These ideas are so unjust and morally wrong on so many levels, and they don't lead to justice or fairness or kindness in the end. From what I can tell, Neely needed serious mental and spiritual help, but he got coddled and ignored by the system instead. Those passengers should have never had to deal with a man who was a danger to himself and others. It should be noted that the medical examiner reported that Neely died from compression to his neck – but was it murder? Did that entire train car participate in willful murder or manslaughter? More importantly, was the use of force justified? A just justice system would look at the situation impartially and consider the context.
But that's not what woke cities do these days. These days, it's about using mobs to invoke political persecution so you can make an example of your enemies while your city slides into chaos.
But chaos is what NYC voted for. It's the world they wanted, so this is the world they get:
