Paul Austerberry, the production designer for Warner Brothers new movie The Flash, says the movie is so good, you'll forget all about Ezra Miller's crimes.
If you‘re not familiar with the the horde of issues surrounding Ezra Miller, who goes by they/them pronouns, let's recap shall we?
Things started going south back in 2019 on the set of "Asking For It," when Miller started acting erratically, wearing long robes, a cape, and a unicorn head around the set.
A few months later on the limited series "The Stand," Miller "incessantly screeched, spit, and interrupted the director by screaming during filming."
Then, during the beginning of Covid, Miller rented an AirBNB in Kópavogur, Iceland, and invited a bunch of friends, artists, and spiritual advisors to join him. Reports came out that Miller was leading cultic rituals and telling his guests that he had mystical powers. One guy reportedly cut off his finger during one of the rituals.
At some point, Miller left the commune to choke a lady at an Icelandic bar for no apparent reason. Check out that crazy episode here:
After all those good times in Iceland, Miller flew to Hawaii in April of 2022, where the actor got in all sorts of trouble.
At the height of Covid, he spit in someone's face at a karaoke bar because he didn't like all the singing. Here's the arrest video of that one:
Released on that charge, he then broke into a couple's home and threatened to kill them.
Some more:
- Later, he got arrested again at another residence for throwing a chair at a woman and cutting her head open.
- In June of 2022, parents of a Standing Rock Sioux tribe girl were granted a restraining order against Miller for allegedly grooming their daughter for sex since she was 12. The girl was 18 at the time of the order.
- Separately that same month, a Massachusetts mother was granted a restraining order against Miller for allegedly grooming her 12-year old son.
- In August of 2022, he broke into a house in Massachusetts and stole some alcohol.
- In the same month, state police in Vermont tried to remove a 25-year old mother with three children from Miller's farm for fear of the children's safety, but it sounds like they are still there.
And for all of that, the only thing that's stuck is the burglary charge.
Miller will serve one year of probation and pay a fine of $500 with an additional surcharge of $192 for stealing that alcohol.
But, you know what?
The Flash is going to be so good, we'll apparently forget all that.
You know why?
Because Warner Brothers brought Michael Keaton back as Batman, I guess.
I don't know though.
I think real-life Ezra Miller could give Jack Nicholson's Joker a run for his money in the "nuts" department.
