Behold! The world’s smallest vacuum made from the husk of a ballpoint pen.

Indian student Tapala Nadamuni just beat the suckiest world record on the planet and built the world's smallest vacuum.

According to Guinness World Records, Nadamuni built his tiny vacuum out of an old ballpoint pen. The vacuum measures 0.65 cm (0.25 in), which is less than the size of your pinkie nail.

The previous record was a little more impressive than this one because it was .07 cm bigger than Nadamuni's.

The vacuum is measured by the shortest axis of its body, meaning the handle and power cord dimensions are excluded from the final measurement.

When connected to a power source, the vacuum creates suction from negative internal pressure via a teeny tiny fan powered by a four-volt vibration motor.

There isn't a bag on the vacuum cleaner; the particles just kind of get sucked up in there, and then you have to become the vacuum's cleaner to get them out, but it's still pretty amazing.

Nadamuni said, "All the students in our college were amazed at this tiny vacuum cleaner, and my faculty told me that it's the most beautiful creation they've ever seen."

I guess, the tiny vacuum that lost the record to Nadamuni's beautiful creation will have to spend the rest of its existence gathering dust.

And on a totally unrelated note, Christmas is right around the corner, fellas. It's never too early to get your a wife a practical present.
