Hello, this is Not the Bee, not to be confused with The Babylon Bee, which would normally feature headlines such as the one above.
No joke (modern country music is the real joke here), Beyoncé has won the Grammy for Best Country Album.
[Warning: Beyoncé likes to wear inappropriate outfits so the following is PG-13]
I'm sorry to say it, but good for her. Any pop artist who wanted to could've come along and done this. The state of country music is so despicable - so non-country - that the world's leading R&B artist just came in and stole the crown for Best Country Album.
Here's the hit single off of "Cowboy Carter," according to the Grammys, the Best Country Album of the year.
That's all Beyoncé had to do was put together some beats and sing slightly in a southern accent.
In fact, that's all country singers have to do these days to get on the radio. Throw a little steel guitar behind a Dre beat and you're headlining in Nashville!
"Cowboy Carter" also won Album of The Year, which should offend country music singers everywhere.
But I'm sure they'll continue to kill what's left of the genre until we're sitting here in a few years talking about Post Malone's country album topping the charts.
