This is an outrage.
Dr. Eitan Haim anonymously exposed Texas Children's Hospital for illegally continuing their sex-change program for minors after Texas outlawed child butchery in the form of "gender-affirming" (reality-denying) "care" (butchery).
Then, Dr. Haim went public with his battle against Texas Children's Hospital to protect children, chatting with Christopher Rufo about his whistleblowing on the operation.
But the Biden Admin is so committed to furthering the LGBTQ+ revolution and protecting doctors who mutilate children that they're willing to trump up charges to retaliate against good people who want the madness to end.
That's exactly what has happened to Dr. Haim, who is now facing 4 felony charges for violating HIPAA.
If you oppose the regime in its mission to devastate children and destroy the family, you will go to prison.
On the morning in June 2023 that Haim was to graduate from Texas Children Hospital's residency program, federal agents knocked on his door. They had identified him as a potential 'leaker,' presumably through forensic examination of the hospital's computer systems. Shortly thereafter, Assistant U.S. Attorney Tina Ansari began threatening Haim with prosecution.
Now, Ansari has made good on those threats. Earlier this week, U.S. marshals appeared at Haim's home and summoned him to court to face an indictment on four felony counts of violating HIPAA. His initial appearance is next Monday, where he will learn more about the charges against him.
Democrats are throwing their primary political rival, Donald Trump, in jail on fake charges. They're throwing grannies in jail for praying at abortion clinics. They're keeping hundreds of J6 political prisoners in jail. And now they want to make an example of what happens to people who blow the whistle on [checks notes] illegal child surgeries.
Dr. Haim should get a medal for exposing Texas Children's Hospitals' illegal practices and protecting children. The Biden DOJ is instead tossing him in jail if they get their way.
The charges are all HIPAA violations, meaning they say the doctor revealed personal and private medical records. But as Rufo attests, and as anyone who has seen the leaks can see, Dr. Haim went to painstaking lengths to redact names and other identifying info of the victims.
According to one of Haim's attorneys, Marcella Burke, he is anxious to get to trial to get his side of the story told; she is confident that this will result in the correct decision being made. (For my own part, I can confirm that nothing in the information provided to me identified any individual; all the documents were, in fact, carefully redacted.) Nonetheless, the prosecutor has pressed forward, hoping, at the least, to intimidate other medical professionals who would consider blowing the whistle on the barbarism of 'transgender medicine.'
Despite the threat to his livelihood and freedom, Haim is undeterred. He plans to mount a vigorous defense in court and is soliciting public support.

I would say, "Thank goodness he's being tried in Texas," but I wouldn't put any faith in Texas' courts at this point. It's a crap shoot, even in deep-red states.
It's hard to see a path forward when the ruling powers want to punish normal people for protecting children.
My unsolicited advice?
Fight back with all we have. Ken Paxton should arrest and charge every doctor and administrator exposed in Dr. Haim's whistleblowing. It's not enough to just shut down the program. Paxton must also set his sights on any state prosecutors involved in helping the Biden regime.
Greg Abbott should pardon Dr. Haim if he is convicted, give him some sort of good citizen award, and make it clear that the feds aren't going to throw a good citizen of Texas in prison for protecting kids.
